" The art of a people, of a tribe, the art of living in the most authentic way. In each rug you’ll find a little bit of the Berber art and philosophy: the art of transmitting and sharing stories, the art of giving and protect. The highly skilled and experienced hands of Berber women weave patiently, carefully each rug for a very specific purpose. From a family house lying mat to a precious gift of marriage, each piece is designed to highlight the simplest AND he most formal moments of life.
As Berber Art enthusiasts, my wife Lamia and I chose to live where everything takes place at the foot of the Atlas mountain in the Zaian region of Morroco, a small village near Azrou. For over five years, mentored by my teacher Oustad Mustafa, we walk across the mountains to meet the people, hand pick and bring back with us genuine, antique, unique and valuable Berber rugs. We are the mediators between the creative artisans and you, future receiver and guardians of their works.
Because our work is above all our passion, we are committed to implement unbeatable price points that defy the usual market. We try to follow the same fold when doing business as the Berber culture taught us to live life: with humility, simplicity, modesty and by sharing knowledge. More than a simple relationship, we create a true collaboration with our customers. Upstream, we take good care of discussing what they have in mind to identify all expectations and to help us find the gem that fits them best. We are exporting our carpets directly from the Atlas Mountains to the home of the new owners without the use of unnecessary and costly third parties. From the United States of America to Russia, Venezuela and Puerto Rico, in Rabat or in Helsinki, our wonderful rugs find their way in elegant eclectic interiors, sometimes modest or luxurious. From the Berber tent where it was born to the modern and sophisticated loft in New York, it continues its voyage to deliver each time a unique emotion.
A carpet highlights, covers, dresses a room. It’s an extension to a bed, a table or a sofa. It completes and finishes a space. I soothes your feet and comforts your home."
